IHF Announces First Annual All-Star
Event!
22-Feb-2008 -- Mark your calendars for the 19th of April from 5
to 8:00 PM at the 949 and make your plans to attend the 2008 IHF All-Star
Games and Trophy Presentations. The Mascot Cup will feature our Junior
Varsity All-Stars in two periods of tournament style, stop-clock, shootout action. That's right! Shootouts instead of
power plays! Then, with school pride and sponsor awards from Mission
Hockey, Revision Hockey and others on the line, following the introduction
ceremony and singing of the anthem the Varsity All-Stars will take to the
rink for our feature event highlighting these skilled athletes in three
periods of competitive stop-clock, all-star roller hockey action. You won't want to miss this! (see the All-Star site for
updates)
Life After High School? You Bet!
IHF Alumni compete
in WCRHL All-Star Action!
If you missed the action this past weekend to see some of our
IHF alumni players compete in a full weekend of Western Collegiate Roller
Hockey League (WCRHL) games, you missed
a real treat to see some of the best
in the west!. As reported on Feb. 8th
(read the full
story), the IHF was well-represented.
Returning IHF alum put on a great show over the weekend and
demonstrated how they’re growing to become ambassadors of our sport. Read the event
update and learn how they’re giving back to our roller hockey community
too! WCRHL action returns again on
March 1-2 for the finals in advance to the Nationals in April.
