An exciting game that saw Tesoro come out fast and then the game see-saw back and forth until Canyon responded in the 3rd to make it a 5-5 tie at the end of regulation play. The first OT session ended static and without a score as the teams exchanged turnovers and shots saved. The second OT session looked much like the first until Canyon finally found their way into the net with 2:22 left in the fifth period and take the trophy.
Scoring Leaders:
David Johnson (Canyon 21): 4 goals and 2 assists
Dane Appleton (Tesoro 39): 2 goals and 2 assists

Starting 45 min. late from the OT game before, Northwood got on the boards early to capitalize on two powerplays in the first period. The second period heated up with both El Dorado and Northwood finding seams in the opposing goalie's armor. The third period was hard-charging but static on the scoresheet and Northwood hung on for the win.
Scoring Leaders:
Andrew Holler (Northwood 9): 2 goals
Nathan Chang (Northwood 19): 2 goals
Justin lamb (El Dorado 44): 1 goal and 1 assist

Two perennial powerhouse teams showed up to play their A games, and did! Marina capitalized on the powerplay to be first on the scoreboard midway in the first period and would follow suit two minutes later with an even strength goal. The second period saw the scoring combinations of both teams kick in the afterburners... Damien's Tyler Gonzales (2) and Jono Davis (14) would be countered by Marina's Kenny Gibo (2) and Tyler Lekas (8) in creating havoc for the keepers throughout both the second and third periods in a fever-pitched, high speed match. In the end, the Viking's offense and stellar goalkeeping would prove too much for the Spartans and the Vikings dynasty would once more capture the Varsity crown.
Scoring leaders:
Tyler Gonzales (2): 3 goals and 2 assists
Kenny Gibo (2): 5 goals and 3 assists
Tyler Lekas (8): 4 goals and 4 assists
