Who should I contact for answers?
Q. I am interested in fielding a team for
IHF high school roller hockey. Do I need the approval of the high school or
school district to play in the League?
Some of the teams that participate do not have this sort of formal
recognition by either their school or their district and represent their
schools in the IHF unofficially [1]. There are, however, school districts
that do afford recognition of their roller hockey teams. Maybe your team is
eligible.
Please contact the IHF for more information about team formation
requirements and assistance as well as information which may assist you in
approaching schools and school districts in seeking official recognition
for your roller hockey team.

Unofficial representation may include, but is not limited to the restricted
use of an official school name, mascot, logo or
otherwise copyrighted and/or restricted use that may be construed as an
official representation as a school-approved team sport. Please consult
with your school district for specific guidelines, if any, in these
matters. The IHF does validate such guidelines and assumes no
responsibility for team(s) registered to represent any school whether
officially or unofficially.
