RE:     IHF Post Season 2006-2007



Everyone;

Let me first thank all of you for a very competitive and successful roller hockey season.  2006-2007 saw a number of changes within the IHF League.  We expanded in almost every aspect of our operation finishing the season with 30 schools, representing 54 teams, four different divisions, and over 600 student athletes.  We assisted in joining the Irvine facilities with the rinks at the Anaheim Hockey Club to extend our ability to accommodate these additional teams.  We hope to add even more schools and teams for next season as well as the addition of some other "special" events that will make 2007-2008 our best season yet.

I would also like to thank and welcome both Ken Murchison and the Anaheim staff along with Eddie Limbaga and his staff at the "new" 949 rinks in Irvine.  Eddie and his group have brought a new energy, willingness, and excitement to the rinks as they have already done some remarkable work and made some long overdue changes for the better to the facilities.  Ken and his people have given us an additional two indoor rinks we can utilize to increase our number of schools and teams, particularly in the area around their facility.  We look forward to continuing our strong relationship with the Irvine rinks, our new endeavors with the Anaheim Hockey Club, and also with Ken, Eddie and their organizations.

I would like to ask all of you to take a few minutes to review this past season and what it meant to you; we would like to get your opinions and comments towards assisting us in making next season the best in our history.  If you would, draft a letter and return it to me or our webmaster at your earliest convenience.  We will be review and compile all feedback to use our combined knowledge to improve the IHF League going forward; and with your help and continued assistance, we will do just that!

Thank you all again for a great 2006-2007 season!  For those of you that will be leaving the League because of graduation or other circumstances we wish you all the best.  For those of you returning for the 2007-2008 season we look forward with eager anticipation to another great season of roller hockey for the IHF and its participating schools and teams.
